Writer With Over Twenty Years of Experience

Gloria G. Williams is a native of Saginaw, Michigan. She has been writing for 20 + years, and she is very excited about launching her first children’s book

Journey As A Writer

Gloria never fathomed becoming a Writer or Published Author. Twists & Turns were happening in her life, and she decided to start expressing her feelings on paper. Gloria came to realize that writing was a form of therapy, and now she has become a relentless Writer.

Gloria’s writing journey is important, but helping youths is equally important. Gloria revised “Black Tears” and “Wow! Poetry”, in effort to create material that would be age appropriate for youths and adults. Gloria is proud to announce that “Black Tears” student version and “Wow! Poetry” has been accepted and placed in a Wayne County High School. 

Gloria has grown to love writing, and creativity is the best way to describe her work. She has won awards for her material in “Wow! Poetry”, and she was also offered a record deal contract that she declined.

Gloria’s Qualifications And Experience

Gloria attended Mott College in Flint, Michigan, and transferred to Delta College after a year. After graduating from Delta College, she continued her education at Eastern Michigan University. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and she also completed a Non-Degree Graduate Sociology Internship at Wayne State University. Shortly after completing her internship, she moved to Atlanta, GA. Gloria worked with youths and troubled families and then decided to launch a new career at The Coca-Cola Company.

Current Work

She took an early retirement from The Coca-Cola Company in 2014 and relocated back to Michigan. Gloria currently works with high school students in the Wayne County School District. She is a big kid at heart, and she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and close friends.
